Reported by a botter!

I was AFK from computer for a while grinding some mobs. Some guy came over to the mobs and said "hello mr botter" then "reported" now i come back to my computer 2 hours later, he is still here botting the same mobs i am. I sent him numerous tells and no response. Should i report him, and in the report say my chat was disabled and didnt see his whisper, that the guy who reported me is doing very robotic movements and wont respond to my whisper backs?

any advice? I want to just file a ticket saying my chat was disabled and i didnt see his whisper, but that he is the one botting?

my advise... ignore him, he didnt do shit, just wanted to scare you off so he could have the place to him self really... stupid thing by him to basicly give him self up as a botter...

I dont see why people would wisper the one they report "reported"... thats just retarded really
 
na i wouldn't do that... reason being he is already a botter. so now he'll have pure evidence you are a botter and report that to blizz so he can have all the farming to himself. "do unto others as other do unto you" ( yes i changed that up )
 
Open a trial account with other email address. If you can, use a proxy so that your IP address will be different. Create a character in the same sever, and report him for botting. In the ticket, specify the area and the amount of hours he was there.
One more thing: AVOID THAT AREA FOR THE TIME BEING.
 
or jump on a alt following him around and whisper him reported
 
some people do it just to annoy you, use AIMLEverything.

consider if he is botting, who makes a GM ticket and then goes afk botting... he didn't really report you

doesn't make sense = not true... which means he wanted to scare you so that you wouldn't bot in "his area", i've seen it before.
 
k thanks guys, when i came back i was at 98% to lvl 85. I dinged then scooted out of there!

they get alerts when you use a proxy, also they still got your HWiD among many other things.
The best way is to not bot for a day or 2. Or bot in a different area.

dont report another botter no matter what they say to u cause it will make blizz also look into ur account also

just ignore them its like they said he just wanted that spot for him self and he would not report u cause he knows they will also look into his account

Do not spam anyone disputing you are a BOT or acting angry, no matter how furious another one can get you. What happens with other BOTters, especially new ones, if they start to feel like they have discovered something super secret and elitist. The reason I say new BOTs is because these are the ones that get the overwhelming feeling to whisper someone they know is BOTing because they want to make it known that they can tell. The only way they know for sure though, is because they are a BOT themselves. So they whisper something like "LOL REPORTED".

There is no proof that he actually reported you and he probably did not. But the more you rage at him, the more it will support his case if he did and even if he didn't, it still supports his troll...

Best bet when someone whispers you "REPORTED", is to say "LOL" and throw him on ignore (or report for spam). If you weren't BOTing, that is exactly what you would say. Who gets mad at someone when they have nothing to worry about? Keep your cool and always remember "umad?" is only helping the troll achieve.

Reporting for spam is good in these cases as is will temporarily ignore him and if any case opens up (if he actually reported you), it will look good when Blizzard investigates.

report him before you get banned and he runs rampant farming with greed. he already made a threat and you need to have a response for that. report him and lay low, consider your account dead and play something else. you will thank yourself later
 
Yeah, with a three day wait for ticket responses, you would have been banned before they saw the ticket... Wat
