Report Real Players AFK by Bots Plugin

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a plugin which picks up when a player in battlegrounds is trying to report a bot, using this plugin (not yet made) would report the person who said that to be AFK in the battlegrounds... this would then kick him out of the Battlegrounds since there is always atleast 3-4 players in BG's anyway and would protect the botters in the Battlegrounds.

People who "hunt" or "report" players will usually do it often compared to people who wouldn't notice, this would also lead to the people trying to report you getting automated bans (no account closures).

Just getting opinions, no flaming.

Scenario: Person1(reporter): "omg, this guy is botting"

Person 2, 6 and 7, 12 picks up on the word botting and reports them AFK which gets them kicked.

Your theory is interesting, and this indeed would place a spin on things, but with Blizzards new reporting methods I fear it is already obsolete... Reporting one "AFK" can remove you from the BG if enough players also report you "AFK". But Blizzards new system has a text box in which the real player needs to insert text (Stating what he say you doing and details... ETC). How would you get the bot to combat this? It's a great idea, I'll keep my eye on this concept, should prove interesting indeed, lol!

im going to have to say no, and here is why, they are legitimately playing and spending their time in a battleground trying to win, and your not, your asleep or eating or going to school or whatever botters do while their bot is botting. kicking real players out of battlegrounds is not something i think the buddy team will get behind. i think that if something like this, where to be released, we would ask you to remove said plugin.

Bad idea. Harassing legit players is wrong on so many levels that its not even worth thinking about. There is no way we would host any plugin of that nature.

Totally agree. We are the cheaters here dont mess with real players who has the patience to play the game and want their team to win.

I second this motion.

However on a related note, I would love a plugin to harrass people /follow botting me. I mean fuck, if you are going to bot a BG at least use HB and contribute SOMETHING to the BG right? AFK botters are scum, almost as bad as account hackers.

if your not at the bottom of the charts when healing or doing damage, people dont really pay any attention specifically in big battlegrounds like AV, where chances are you wont see someone for more then 5minutes at a time and there so much going on its almost impossible to tell whats happening.

I didn't really read or comprehend the OP, but what I thought he was suggesting was a plugin that would report people who were legitimately afk, like they had done no dmg or healing or something like that

Not exactly, he wants to monitor the chat for certain keywords, such as "bot", and then report the player saying it afk to keep botters from being reported. However, this would only work if several people in the same bg use the plugin.

Nevertheless, as CnG already stated, this won't be hosted on the BuddyForum, as it conflicts with their opinion on in-game behavior.
