[RePear] Working 3.0.3. All Credit to kagamihiiragi17 for the great plugin

Can't test at the movement but he vendors have moved in dhona has this been changed?

Is there a way that when im in my private chamber it select the mender in front of me and repair my stuff?

This still doesn't work with the Heavensward (3.0 Areas) when is this bot going to be updated
I am getting tired of having to rely on outdated old plugins for stuff that should be built
into the bot. This bot is absolute garbage! I am not too happy with it so far.

You are welcome to request a refund.

With that being said. I completely agree with you that right out of the box, this bot doesn't have a lot going for it. Unfortunately, the only Dev that works on this (Mastahg) doesn't work on things that the community wants. He's busy making a Korean version of the Bot so that he can have another revenue stream to collect from. Mastahg thinks that his job is to just give the community the tools to do whatever they want in game, not to actually build any implementations with them himself. So you will probably NEVER see repair being built into the game. You're better off spending the $5 on the new version of Agil. At least you know that Neverdyne will continue to update it....including when a new expansion/zones are implemented.

Not to derail the thread, but lets not forget where he mentioned that if we wanted flying bad enough, for the community to start a crowdsource fund to raise the 70k for the 3rd party tools to be able to implement it.

But Bossland is a company, and like many companies, revenue streams are more important than customer satisfaction.. beings that once a lifetime sub is bought, they made their money..

They should make the bot so it actually WORKS. Really that is pretty crappy customer service
to say that you can request a refund.

Bottom line is they need more people rather than just having one guy
trying to do two versions of the bot.

Bossland is not going a good job with this bot from what I see so far.

They need to put a built in repair into the bot along with many other things.
Basically most things in this bot doesn't work or has to rely on a 3rd party
module.

That is a pretty crappy way to run a bot. Most of this bot does not work.
I don't disagree that mending at a nearby vendor should be included with RB out of the box. I'm sure mastahg has it on his radar, but other things, such as flying, are higher on the priority list.

On a side note, your sentence structure and post format seems familiar. Has TheGhost returned from the grave?

Just to be clear...I am NOT customer service. I was just stating that if you are unhappy with something you paid for, then you can request a refund. That logic goes for pretty much anything you buy.

You are preaching to the choir when you say RB needs more help and that Bossland isn't doing a good job managing this bot. One thing to know though...is that it COULD be worse. While I don't particularly like Mastahg and he doesn't like me, I will say this...at least we have SOMEONE working on our Bot. There are other Bots from Bossland where it's basically 1 guy and he takes turns working on one bot or the other.

Also, remember...Mastahg just released the KR version...so he's up to THREE versions he's supporting now.

almost every post you have done has been about how crappy this bot is. There are multiple ffxiv bots out there, feel free to waste your money on them before coming back to this one saying its better. Buddybots have always been very good bots. Sure the other bot may be able to fly. But be prepared to do your own nav meshes for it... and all the other things that you need to save locally for it to work. Other bots are mostly sub based.. meaning they have a steady stream of income, can have support by more than one dev easily. RB is a lifetime for $25(?) (i forgot the conversion rate).

While there are some things that i dont agree that mastahg is doing (example, calling people bad for trying to understand his api efficiently, and as i said before).. this bot has really come a long ways since its first release... minimum things such as running to closest vendor to repair.. i much rather the community do that and leave him to more important things, since he is the only dev. As for the flying, you need to go read through Iyake's and ExMatt's post.. they both have some very efficient flying tags for orderbot..

So please, instead of bitching about every single thing about this bot, you have a few options.
1) maybe you can beg neverdyne for agil (doubtful)
2) try the other bots around the interwebs, then come back to RB saying how much better it is.
3) do as Wheredidigo said, and request a refund.
4) learn C# (it really is not that difficult to learn) and make yourself a simple plugin to repair.. or edit the plugins that are out there to make them work.
5) most importantly stfu with all the complaining.

I will complain about this bot because it is an absolute scam most of which should be built into the bot
isn't even there and a lot of the plugins that should work with this bot don't!

I don't see it as a "good bot" at at all. So far what I am seeing is that most of this bot
doesn't work. This bot needs more people working on it, you can not have a bot being
developed by just one person.

Once again Repairing and flying should be built into this bot and you should NOT have
to rely on 3rd party tags and yes I have the flying tags but they are not exactly
working the best either. Everything with this bot is a 3rd party work around.

And having to do a 3rd party work around is absolute B.S. a lot of this stuff should
be built into the bot.

Telling people to go use another bot is a real crappy way to treat customers
it is a way of saying oh our bot isn't up to par so you better go try something
else.

Bottom line is that this bot needs a LOT of work to make it anywhere
close to being a functional bot. Bossland needs to get more people
working on this bot and properly develop it or drop this project and refund
everyone money.

Ok you keep saying alot of things need to be added, yet you are only referring to two things.. Repairing, and Flying.
1) There are viable options for flying until it gets supported. Try one.

Also, as far as we know, he is working on flying.. since he has never said he wasnt working on it.. He said it may take some time. He also mentioned that flying in HB took years before it was supported, and they have multiple devs working on it.. I can attest to that, I was using HB when flying was barely supported.

2) Repairing, well yeah it needs to be supported, and it "is" supported because its in the api.. just because the bot doesnt randomly run to an npc to repair, doesnt mean its not supported.
RePear works, according to OP. It just needs the menders added for the new zones, and some of the previous mender locations updated since some have been moved. Please, feel free to put your RB to use, and use the console.. run to every npc that can repair in HW.. get their name, location, location name, and see if they require you to click on an extra box to bring up the repairing option.. format it such as:

Code:
"Merchant & Mender", "201.709, 98.42287, -206.1036", "Summerford Farms", true

and post them all here. AFAIK once those are added to Repear, it will work in HW... Also, get the ZoneID which is in the worldmanager namespace.. Feel free to help people helping you.. instead of demanding non stop.

anything else? those seem to be the only two things you bitch about.

and yet again, if you are not happy with the bot, go request a refund instead of constantly bitching about it.. thats the same with any product/service.

You just gotta ignore him Yasuko, I'd be willing to bet my paycheck it is just TheGhost back with a new username. He's unhappy that the bot doesn't just automatically do everything for him in the game. Can only just leave it be at this point. One of those situations where it's just best to ignore and move on.

Reporter, shh. I actually created this account to inform you that it took me all of ten minutes using the console to add Falcons nest to repair list and have tested repairs in WesternHighlands (I.E Heavensward area) Instead of constantly crying about something not working, spend two minutes actually reading the replies you've already been given. Add five lines of code to Repear.cs and click go. It really is that damn easy.

I tried this plugin and it doesn't work in the new Heavenswards areas.... keeps saying the area is invalid...
and doesn't run to a repair vendor.

If you read the thread he mentioned that it doesn't support heavensward areas. But if you want them you could add them yourself or give him the information he needs for it to be added.

Why does it say "working" in the title then .. it clearly isn't working for
Heavensward.

Some one needs to update it.

My contribution so far:

Code:
	public static List<RepairNPC> CoerthasWesternHighlands_List = new List<RepairNPC>();
		public static List<RepairNPC> SeaOfClouds_List = new List<RepairNPC>();
		public static List<RepairNPC> AzysLla_List = new List<RepairNPC>();
		public static List<RepairNPC> Idyllshire_List = new List<RepairNPC>();
		public static List<RepairNPC> DravanianForelands_List = new List<RepairNPC>();
		public static List<RepairNPC> ChurningMists_List = new List<RepairNPC>();

And then,

Code:
CoerthasWesternHighlands_List.Add(new RepairNPC("Independent Mender", "502.5174, 212.7327, 716.1176", "Falcon's Nest", true));
			SeaOfClouds_List.Add(new RepairNPC("Mender of Wreckage", "-649.1182, -123.8546, 526.5735", "Camp Cloudtop", true));
			AzysLla_List.Add(new RepairNPC("Reconditioning Node", "-638.2703, -176.4502, -553.6453", "Helix", true));
			Idyllshire_List.Add(new RepairNPC("Goblin Tinker", "81.03956, 207.0089, 4.387944", "Idyllshire", true));
			DravanianForelands_List.Add(new RepairNPC("Traveling Mender", "479.3451, -51.1414, 25.80069", "Tailfeather", true));
			ChurningMists_List.Add(new RepairNPC("Mender of Sticks", "292.7379, -42.89404, 576.8995", "Moghome", true));

and also,

Code:
	LocationDictionary.Add(397, CoerthasWesternHighlands_List);
			LocationDictionary.Add(401, SeaOfClouds_List);
			LocationDictionary.Add(402, AzysLla_List);
			LocationDictionary.Add(478, Idyllshire_List);
			LocationDictionary.Add(398, DravanianForelands_List);
			LocationDictionary.Add(400, ChurningMists_List);

It's a start, someone take over :)

Some one needs to update it.

You need to pay attention to thread posts. It does work, in old 2.0 areas. It is not updated for heavensward. My previous posts says what is needed for it to work in HW.. With that said, the insanely huge maps, and lack of native flying support would basically render this plugin useless in HW

Since RB natively does not support flying, the option to use this, or even agil in HW would just be silly.. you would be much better off keeping craft levels within repair range.. and repairing yourself.. not only can you get up to 198% durability self repairing, but it also looks alot less "bot-like".. cause lets face it.. if you were playing by hand, and had to repair.. you would probably just teleport to an area with a vendor, and run back.. instead of running 20 minutes to a vendor, then 20 minutes back to where you were grinding..
