Remote Monitoring - How to check/start your bots from another computer or your iPhone

Hello! I would like to share how i'm checking my bots from my iphone or school/work computers easily.

First step to do is install a small software name Teamviewer on your PC/Mac. It's completely free for personal use. You can download it from here:

After the installation you will have this panel:

An ID (first numbers on the blue box) and a random password (numbers in the second box) will be generated. The ID will always be the same for your computer, the password will be generated each time you will open the software (or you can configure one as default into options).

Configuration on your main computer is done.

Now go on the Teamviewer download page and download the "For mobile use: Teamviewer portable" if u want to use it from an usb key, or just a new full version if you want to install it on a secondary computer. To reach your main computer is quite simple, just insert your ID, connect, insert your password and you are done: you will be able to work on your main computer like if you'r using it physically. No need to configure IPs or permissions :)

The best feature of this software is the possibility of use from an iphone, using wireless or 3G network. Just go into the AppStore and install Teamviewer Iphone version for free on your mobile. You will be able to use your computer using the touch screen. It will be possible to move your mouse, to type with your keyboard, and do everything else you usually do with your computer

team viewer rocks. i have been using it for alot of things before. and i have been planing to use it again for my bot. Gonna try it out again today from work :)
 
this is like the 4th thread about teamviewer. everybody knows it allready :p
please use search before posting so you dont doublepost threads that allready exist.

Although you are correct, he only mean to help.

yesterday somebody else posted it, mess1337 posted a more indepth guide aswell and some other guy posted it too :)

it's not that i mind it a lot but posting the same program 4 times is just a bit too much imo :p

And I was hoping for a good remote monitoring program made just for botting ...

Teamviewer is really good, but its similar to VNC type monitoring.
 
I am at work at the moment so can't check..

Is it possible to install this on my home computer and log in and control my computer via internet explorer (aka webportal) just like LogMeIn?

no, but you can run the teamviewer client to connect your home computer without installing it :)
 
with logmein I can't see heavy graphics, i.e. wow - does team viewer show whats going on with wow better?

Just download the mobile version on a usb key and use it from it. No installation are needed

In ur setting u can choose "graphic mode" or "speed mode"... i have no problems with graphics even on my iphone

Where is this in Logmein?
I have got the tick box of Use display accelerator ticked.
And when connecting to the host I the best visual instead of performance.

But I can only see the borders of WoW and nothing inside.
Any clues? Im running Win XP on both machines.

Same problem...switched to teamviewer...no problems. Try it.
 
Hmm, well I used to use logmein, I liked it. But when I first saw this thread I totally forgot about logmein. I'm sure there's a way to get rid of tht screen. Ill check it out when I get home.
