Greetings community!
I would like to leave a token of my appreciation here!
I was a former botter back in the good old "Glider days"... I remember all the terrible legal action crap all to well and was appalled when the project was forced to be terminated.
I actually quit WoW shortly after. I was enjoying myself as a semi-hardcore raider, but even that will grow tiresome after a while...
I always thought of botting as a kind of hobby ^^ It's exciting because of the thrill in it being illegal (at least I find it to be a fun aspect) and it's SO time saving. I really felt that I got so much more time for all the other fun things in life (you know outside of Azeroth ^^). And I've really missed botting a lot. I've tried several times to start up a new character with friends, but I just couldn't invest the time in the game to make it fun. Either I was low on gold or couldn't get my self to level a profession.
I have now been a member of this community for nearly a month and I am far from disappointed!
What's so special about this bot is not necessarily the bot itself but this remarkable community and its contributions! I have never experienced anything like it. I feels even grander than the Glider days!
Thanks to the dedication of many skilled people the bot feels "lifelike" and intelligent.
I have always botted safe, never left it running over night, never ran for more than 4-6 hours and always tried to be home while botting. Though with this AI I actually feel it's safe to go shopping and not be as vigilant as I would've been before.
It took me just over 3 weeks to get a completely new Warlock to lvl 85, with just a 5% xp increase and a total of 8 days played time. That is for me astonishing since the last time I tried to lvl with a bot, grinding was the only viable option...
Sure the bot wasn't flawless, but the mistakes seemed only natural and not too suspicious.
I would like dedicate gratitude to 2 people beside the people behind Honorbuddy and that is:
Kickazz006 - for his questing profile I've used on my Warlock, which I though until a month ago was an impossibility!
timglide for giving life to a very old monitoring project I absolutely loved back in the Glider days and gave me even greater joy in being a part of this community!
I plan on leveling a new character soon with the bot and want to create a leveling diary for it. I would like to post details about it on this forum and hope it will of interest to some people
