Ok, so its been well over 72 hours now since I made my purchase, have not received a key, and the only "help" given was to say "email [email protected]", which I did 72 hours ago and have not gotten so much as a auto-reply.

I am going to give this 24 more hours, at which point I will file a dispute with PayPal and with the BBB Online.

Now obviously thats not the outcome I wanted... but if you guys won't even acknowledge my issue I have no other choice. Its your call.

Check your junkmail.

If no key, create an account and login on Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal with the same e-mail you used to purchase demonbuddy. Then go under the "keys" tab. There you will have your demonbuddy key, if done right.

Ya... I would do, except that Buddyauth will not authorize my account. They do not send me an authorization email. i get a .NET error when I try. I have already emailed all this to support, with no replies.

No, it did not go to junkmail. No, its not being blocked on my end. This is a technical issue with the buddyauth website, as witnessed by a .NET related error when I try to authenticate.

And... no friggin reply of ANY kind from ANYONE about the issue. As I said, 24 more hours, then I make a stink about it. :/ - I would much rather just get my damn key and start botting.

Generally, but they keep a database for all online businesses based on the domain name, just for this type of thing. It tells people that live in the USA if there have been complaints (not responded to) about a website. Its a very good tool for anyone looking to make purchases online.

As for your other comment about them being closed for the weekend, I put in the order on Wednesday the 11th, with my first forum post on the 12th (thursday), and the my first email the same day (thursday). The weekend is only 2 days long.. so either way the delay is unacceptable without ANY info at all coming from them. Shit, I am a developer - I know things can go bad... if I would only get a "we're working on it, we know there is a problem", I would be fine with that. My bitch is that I am getting nothing at all from them.

This is the last bump I'm giving this thread. When it hits page 2, I issue a paypal dispute and file complaints with everyone I can think of. Not a very good way to get and keep customers guys. I am very un-impressed.
 
not a wizard here, but if ur getting a .net error accessing the buddyauth site, wouldnt you wanna update ur .net stuffz on your computer?

I am accessing the site without any issues so it might be your computer thats fucking something up no?

I've asked the admins to look into your issue. Please be patient, if you bought the key during the first 24 hours of the shop opening back up - there may be minor issues. The admins will look into it and reply here or email you back.

As a side note - did you log into buddyauth and register with the same email that you paid g2s with?

Um, no.

Thats not the way it works. A website that runs on the .NET Framework uses the .NET framework installation on the server, not the client. The error had to do with the way they are sending emails to clients. I can't know for sure without looking at their code, but it seems to me that they are trying to relay mail thru an open relay of some kind, and its rejecting my email for some reason.

In any case, 5+ days with not even an attempt to communicate back with me is just retarded. A company with that lousy of support does not deserve my money. Too bad too - I have been a lifetime user of HB for years and have been very happy with that product.

I put all this in my emails to the support email:

No, my primary email address (the one I registered with) is NOT the same as my paypal email, tho they are on the same domain. That said, I tried registering on buddyauth with both emails, and neither of them work. I got a .NET error related to the sending of email (which I did not receive), and sent that to the support email as well.

yeah, the first 24 hours after opening the shop back up we had various complications and bossland had to do a lot of manual stuff. I've left them a msg to check this thread.

also tony did reply to you early on he is part of the DB team saying he was having them look into your situation so Kick wasnt the first person to reply to you. Tony was one of the first few replies to your thread.

That's weird, because I registered with BuddyAuth before I purchased Demonbuddy. You should be able to register with that site at any time with any email (it doesn't check whether you've bought anything).

Tony told me only to email the support email. I still to this day have gotten NO response to that email.

I mean... how hard could it be to just fix my damn account? It sure seems that they really couldnt care less if they loose me as a customer or not.

Jesus do you guys not listen?

I CANNOT LOG IN TO BUDDYAUTH. THAT IS MY WHOLE FUCKING PROBLEM. It says I have not authenticated my account and to re-send the authentication email, which I click to do, and I GET A FUCKING .NET ERROR MESSAGE.

Now its been a week. And with His Highness tony here claiming its my fault, I am now fed up. I will await one NON-MOD (aka player, not follower) response by the end of my day before I take action, which WILL include a paypal dispute and a solid shit-talking on every messageboard I belong to.
