Yes it has to do with the item list.. go to ur trinity settings and there is a selection under item rules mode where you can select it... change it to simple scoring then go to your item list tab next to pickup tab. Now click on where it says use item list.. for some reason when I clicked it it made it start working... so now that your using item list.. you can either select all under the more options tab, or go through each one and select the legs you want to keep.. I then went to misc tab next to legendary item and I selected always keep ancient items.. so you don't delete the gg items! if you get lost let me know and I can try to break it down even more. For you chest problem, you will have to go to the Objects tab that's actually to the left of the items tab that you were just in.. and in the first set of 6 check boxes, check open chests. I would suggest checking all these at first so you can get some more white mats.
