Recruit a friend - Need some tips

Hello guys,

some days ago I started to bot with two accounts. I linked them with recruit a friend to earn more experience. My "tank" is grinding and the other bot should assist him. I chosed "RAF - Combat assist" and loaded the profile (same as the tank). The main problem is:
The second character is a range fighter. When the tank attacks a monster and the other char follows him he is often out of range and can't help the tank.
Should I let them booth quest? Or is grinding better for RAF?

I found a problem / bug / mistake of my configuration.
When I hide WoW (only when I hide it) the bot stops walking after some minutes.
When I open WoW again Honorbuddy starts botting. In the log is nothing and the bot haven't stopped, the bots only stopped working.

Is this a bug of honorbuddy? :(

Use HB with WoW in Windowed mode. If u minimize WoW ---> HB spazes up.
 
you can, but only in windowed mode as far as i know.
i mean you can only play games in windowed mode.
like: you have 2 wows in windowed
you can play TF2(any other game) but only in windowed mode, not fullscreen

So a short summary:

When the both bots bot with RAF in a group I have to play other games in window mode.
When the bots bot single without a group I can play other games in fullscreen mode like always?

...why? That's crazy.

When I just hide WoW and let the both bots run they do nothing after some minutes.
 
Ok let me break it down for you easy.

If you want to do other things while botting (fullstop, group and non-group) you put WoW into windowed mode.

This does not stop you from doing ANYTHING on your computer. Opening another file like a movie or a game.exe (even a fullscreen game or movie) will not affect the botting.

The only time HB messes up is if WoW is Minimized. So keep WoW windowed and up. Open other things and they will open over it. It is created like this for people who multi-bot.
 
So: Do not minimize WoW when multi botting. I will try it out. Thank you very, very, very much. :)
 
I think I can forget RAF botting, the bot is not working really well. For some minutes everything is fine, then one bot decieded to do nothing anymore and dies. The other bot is going crazy at the same time. I don't know why, I only know that this is annoying.
 
I get no error in the log or something else, so I think it's a problem with Honorbuddy and nothing else. The main bot (not the follower [grind bot]) works for some seconds, then he stand still and do nothing. So awesome.

Edit: Every five minutes the bot stops working, so awesome. :(

I have a question related to this. I have the recruit a buddy thing on my two accounts as well. But I have the one instance of HB thing, so can't multi bot. That being said I'd like to have my other account follow the bot. I babysit my bots so shouldn't have any security risk. My problem is that the bot keeps targeting the group member. Any ideas?
 
If you configure your bot correctly, it works great. Read the FAQ and use the search function for some of the problems. I can get 5 accts to work in unison. I also used the search feature and posted in the correct official HB thread with my problems
 
Sorry, but I can't find something usefull. Could you link me the threads? And would you help me via msn or icq? Would be really great.

The main problem is, that the bot sometimes stop working (grind bot) without a reason. That is really stupid.
