Greetings!

We are very sorry to inform you that your account occurred in the number of illegal transactions in a very long period of time. We have not received any complaints about your transactions. But if other players send complaints about your account to us, we will permanently ban your account.

So we have reviewed our logs of your account, and we were able to determine the following:
*Battle.Net Account Name: *************
*Battle.Net Account Action: 49 Hour Suspension

We strongly suggest you review our current Rules and Policies to avoid further action in the future, please submit your account information at : <edit>

While we will attempt to address all concerns as promptly as possible, it may be several days before we are able to respond depending on the total inquiries we receive. Once we verify your account, we will reply to your e-mail informing you that we have dropped the investigation.

Regards,

Customer Services
Blizzard Entertainment

Also i assume he isn't banned right now....which means the starting email was meant to cause the panic...omg must go be nice to get account back syndrome....which 75% of the time results in hacking the account ^_^

But...that's a legit link to Blizzard, lol. sure, it's a broken link, but it is indeed not a phishing site.

hmm i've overseen this (red part^^)
but the link goes to the correct battle.net adress, that's curious

At work so cant click link. You sure its blizz site? There are sites that look identical to the blizzard site. There is only like 1 difference between them. Trust me. When I first started playing I fell for it and the site was identical.

Battle.net is indeed the blizzard website...lol

When you click it, it is a broken link, but it is Battle.net.

It goes to a blizz like site but says error maby I deleted some of the link by mistake because when I copy and past it from my emails in-between each line of writing was loads of different numbers ?

possible the phisher messed up on the fake link...they do try to make them as close as possible..or maybe blizz is starting to ask...however until i was banned i wouldn't look too far into it

i get like 3 of these mails a day, on my old email account, i made a account on gmail changed the adress on wow and when i get an email on that account i know its real

I wouldn't worry about it. Blizz wouldn't ask you for your information. IT's most likely a really bad phisher lol. But....if they mentioned your battle.net Id in the email....how would they know that? :P

Guys, you're all missing the obvious. The OP copied and pasted the visible text from his email account... what you don't see in his copy/paste is the HTML that was hiding behind that visible text.

A URL can display as one location but actually go somewhere completely different:

and btw - Look at the wording carefully. Blizzard is very precise with their emails - and probably would not make gramatical mistakes.
