This generally happens when an enemy is approaching from the bottom of the screen. The bot just stands there and won't attack enemies that are visible at the bottom of the screen until they approach a bit closer.
Against melee enemies this isn't really a big deal, the enemies just walk in, but it will occasionally just die to a pack of ranged enemies because the char is in range of being attacked but is not returning fire.
The only way I've managed to stop this is by setting my attack ranges to be very low, however this is kind of a crappy solution - due to the bot's slowness of engaging this means that melee enemies generally get hits off rather than being killed on approach.
Is there any settings I can use or modifications I can make to oldroutine that will prevent this behavior and make ranged attacking viable?
