Ranged broken?

Seems like ranged Appears to be broken, constantly running face up to mobs to attack?.
 
Ensure that you have set Ranged Skill Slot, not Melee.
Also check your "Combat range" and "Max Range Range".
 
In addition, ExampleRoutine isn't a smart routine. In order to get in LoS of enemies, it simply moves towards the mobs position, since that's the easiest way to find LoS. There are also a lot of other issues with the design that makes it not work as expected if you don't setup melee/ranged skills, so if you keep having troubles just post your "ExampleRoutine.json" contents from the Settings folder and tell us which skills you're using on which slots.
 
Well i've left it all to default. obviously i've set it to the "ranged" skills, which it's currently just using Iceshot.

And yeah, example routine has changed. I miss the old versions haha.
 
Just seems really slow and clunky at the moment. I would seriously love to help, just not good at programming. I do 3d art and game assets, not coding haha.
 
Crumpet_, get a 'blank' routine, which can be thought of as the exampleroutine without nothing in it, then add the bits that you want from the existing exampleroutine. This is what I did and it has speed up the combat 10x to the point that I am now tweaking the ms between ticks etc. It sounds simpler than it is but the coding difficultly is amateur.

*BUT* we can all appreciate that getting into the 'coding space of mind' is not easy. I have been coding only as a hobbie and to stay sharp. (Nothing like coding to make it clear that you are overly tired, drunk and/or high as a motherfucker)

Ah really?. hmmm I just want to use cyclone, well and the auras etc.

So i'll try and figure it out hahaha, if not i'll ask for help. Cheers
 
For me it is working fine, i just needed to increased combat range and ranged range a bit . . .
