Random looting

Does anyone else loot random volatiles? I was in a bg and my toon loots a random volatile in the middle of WSG its weird it does that every now and then anywhere in the game. So anyone else see that?

I can honestly say this is the first time I've heard of it happening, wouldn't complain if you are getting free volatiles though.
