Random 85 Whispering me bs question - GM?

Hey guys, I have been botting for a good while on my hunter with the updated BGbuddy - I supervise it 70% of the time. Today I was waiting in a que and some random 85 whispered me asking about an encounter he had had in arena with a hunter where the hunter seemingly healed himself, I responded at once as I was suspicious and had a short convo.

He had very good grammar but made a few errors that seemed fake to me.

Do blizzard use this as a form of checking up on botters instead of whispering via a GM window?

Although I do not know for sure... I highly doubt it was a GM.

I saw a guy in a thread just now who got a whisper from a random 85 and was then ported somewhere so i'm not sure either as that's the first time i've heard of it. This was at 5 am as well, not the sort of time when people are feeling social and the guy was the opposite side of the city to me.

Link me to that thread if you can... I've never heard of GM's going on actual characters and talking to people.
