Hi Dev,

id like to suggest a idea that should help the community and bring some cash to your way :) (I'm sure many people have suggested)

How bout you create a dedicated bot called raidbuddy- that works with the currently available CR's

It can be a new product with a new set of keys (I'm happy to pay)..

-lite weight - no plugin support at all.
-more secure-less chance of detection.
-improved DPS/HPS due to dedicated bot.

keen as :)

if they did I'd buy it for sure maybe that supports 64-bit

Na screw 64bit everything will need to be rewritten, if they are going to go down that path, they need to give all the devs notice..

Get your raid team using HB instead of deluding yourself that you can manipulate things in your favor on your own. I understand it can be hard, but this is the only way to solve out the problems or frustrations your raid team might be experiencing, you can not make a difference on your own, changing something or creating fancy new interface is not a solution. Did I converted my raid team instantly? Not entirely... but running inner circle and soon 80% of the raid it was enough to score to the top!

This might be a evil solution, and you know that you can buy another few years of addiction and destroy other people life by introducing Honorbuddy, anyway this is just a theory and some of anecdotal experiences.

yeah because 32bit isnt already a massive red flag...

Only developers of routines and HB staff realizes this but it's absolutely useless. A routine uses SO much more functionality then just combat. Making a lightweight version simply will not work - We need the core functionality which other botbases like Gatherbuddy use as well.

Just check the whole picture. Second standalone Buddy product means:

1. A new series of Blizzard lawsuits vs Bossland GmbH.

2. More taxes for legal services, in relation to the above.

3. More time and expenses for development, payment processing, support etc.

4. Even after some individuals would like to pay extra fees for the standalone product, it's capabilities would be similar to the current HB solutions.

5. Not to mention the double efforts into checking when new patch hit.

if you think that, I'm glad I've never used anything you have developed...

fyi.. just because someone doesn't have developer next to there name doesn't mean they don't develop..... I've been running my own CR now for over year that I made my self, I don't share it because I don't have the time to support it.

as with any new bot- but is covered by the cost of the bot.

No, what Nom means is that you need ObjectManager for lots of things Auto AoE, Click on Ground spells and so on. And ObjectManager is like one of the largest part of honorbuddy

Yes I get that... So you keep the stuff you need for CR's and remove all the stuff you do not ?? that's that a light version is...

HB pulsing plugins for example ? we don't need that at all, and just about everything under general settings..

So you want them to make a new bot that will run Enyo only instead of just disabling the other things you don't use. The improvement on dps/hps won't be so much that anyone other than those who min/max to gain an additional 100 dps would care. Just seems like too much effort for very little, if any reward.

I think the OP means a new bot, not a compliment to HB.
I think a majority of HB users only really just want the ENYO with CRs functionality. People just dont care enough for grinding/leveling because it's not needed and only brings increased risk to your account.

The same goes for me, with a reply like that I'm glad you never used anything I developed (Something which I highly doubt though, quite confident most users used at least one of my projects).

This. And not limited to ObjMgr.

I doubt you got that point, judging by your previous post.

You stated as one of your points "More secure-less chance of detection." which is what my reply was for. I truly doubt that many code which communicates with WoW can be stripped out. Sure plugin pulsing can be removed, but that does not improve security whatsoever. Hence you can disable it alltogether in a botbase so performance wise is also a non-issue.

It would be a waste of precious HB core developers time.

This also sounds like what PQR was and it didn't offer any better performance than what HB does.

What he wants, and is the same that I want is a bot apart can only be used for the CR's because like me, a good percentage of users here use HB only for CR and distinguishing the two things MAYBE we have less chance of losing our account. it's just a question, nothing more.

My points- where possible outcomes... not what would happen...

and no I use lazy raider not Enyo.. and make my own profiles.. With the exception of kicks questing profiles... Enyos UI doesn't work with 4k/8k monitors, as the scale makes it very hard to pick your options.. its also on the store, so I can not modify it to suit my needs like I can with lazyraider..

Blizzard clearly has differnty view for combat bots compared to full on bots- as see with PQR where most users ended up with a 72hour suspension. (yes some got life bans toon)... HB users all got 6month bans no question asked...

So a user might have a better fight- if he was using a combat only bot... with the current ban- blizzard where not able to know if the user was using it for raiding only or a full on farming bot..

this way- users could us a combat bot- with out having to associate with afk pvp botters.
