Tipps

  • Please use the standard Singular combat routine for this raid.
  • Use the QuestBot, because ... well these profiles need it. :-)
  • Have enough bag space. There is a lot of loot waiting for you.
  • Enemies might die pretty quickly. If you play a class/spec with a pet, you might want to think about disabling it in your combat routine.*
    Otherwise you might miss out on a few pieces of loot.

How do I get this to run with HBRelog?
I have composed a small tool that will help you set it up. Please refer to the free Farming Studio: HBRelog Configurator.

Why does my character kill Razorgore before all eggs are destroyed?
I have received reports that this happens with the TuanHa combat routines. Please use Singular for this raid. Apparently disabling the combat behavior does not work as intended with TuanHa.

Razorgore just stands on one side of the room above the Orb of Domination and does nothing. Why is that?
Razorgore is waiting for all adds to spawn until he starts destroying eggs. The maximum number of adds in this encounter is 40. This way the aggro stays mostly on the character and not on Razorgore. The number of adds is displayed in the Honorbuddy status bar. I didn't want to spam the log, but apparently I should have. :-)

Sometimes the character just drops the mind control and starts it right up again. Why is that?
If Razorgore is being attacked by orcs, we drop the mind control for a short moment. That usually results in the aggro switching to the player and keeping Razorgore safe.

Why are there red error messages in the log regarding "DoWhen"?
I am in the process of figuring that out. It seems to happen when a behavior regarding Razorgore is used, while it is still running. This should not happen as I base my logic on intervals that are usually long enough. The encounter works nonetheless, so for now please disregard them. They will be fixed in a future build.

I died during the Razorgore encounter. Why?
Well, there is a slight chance that Razorgore does e.g. a Cleave in that split second the mind control is inactive. If this happens near the group of adds, they will aggro Razorgore and he will die. This event is unlikely but can happen and with the corpse run being defective HB-wise that is the one situation where you have to step in, do the corpse run and restart Act 2 after Razorgore has respawned.

Well, I will look into it in the morning. I am now at 20 hours work so I need to get some shuteye in, but "nothing works" sounds really unlikely. Have you tried it with HB 772 (before the update that hit this evening). Maybe it is a new issue introduced by this patch. Quite a few people are using this profile and this is the first time I am hearing about it. I ran it 12 times myself in this ID alone just to make sure it works.

If it has nothing to do with the new release, then I am tempted to give the usual "clear cache", "try deactivating plugins" etc. advice. I'll tell you more after my own run.

Hey studio, i do think it has something to do with the new HB as some other profiles are not working as well.

i restarted HB and twice, not sure if it has to do wtih HB updating yesterday that might have caused the problem but just putting it out there.

Yes, this is a known issue:

Honorbuddy v2.5.13239.773 was released last night and has introduced a few issues that should be fixed with the next drop (HB-2086: Problems caused by deferred compilation).
Please be patient and try again with the next release. My profiles still work with the last release Honorbuddy 2.5.13198.772. Feel free to use that version in the meantime until the issue is resolved.​

I bought this one and am waiting for the fix, but am wondering if I can run another in the meantime?

Almost all questing profiles (those by other authors as well) are affected by this. That includes my other ones too.
Just download the Honorbuddy version before the current one (Link) and you can farm your heart out.

Then you just update to .774 once it is released.

I'll look into it. Can you describe to me what happens as well? Did you interfere with the fight?
The DoWhen error usually doesn't lead to the encounter failing. Did you interfere? I feel like there is something missing to the puzzle.

When the first channelling ends (while waiting for 40 mobs to spawn), it stops doing anything and stands there until Razorgore dies.

Did you interfere with the fight?
Not at all, I just monitored the bot and did nothing.

I'll give it a whirl. Just let me get in and out of the showr and the first cup of coffee into my system. :-) From the threads that popped up overnight I get the feeling that either some kind of clean install is needed to get rid of the whole 773 issues after all or that there still is something amiss with that 775 build.
 
Apparently something changed with the latest build (again)... I am not sure yet, if it is something I have to adjust or if the behaviors themselves are broken which means a fix of Honorbuddy is in order. The whole deferred compilation thing seems to be a bloody mess. It should not have gone live the way it did. A few of my fellow community developers have voiced that they also suffer from issues. I am very sorry for this and I will try to figure it out.
