RAF Question About Same Battle.net

First, I now loathe the search function here. I can't find anything I'm looking for when searching.

Second, and to the point, Is it possible to RAF within the same battle.net? Say I send a RAF invite with wow1 and it creates wow2. I go into the game, party the toons up and I have no summon, and no grant a level. What am I doing wrong?

Ok so scratch that. I'm stupid. I was on the wrong account for one of them.
