RAF Issue

Hi Guys,

Sorry I tried to search but the search doesn't like "raf" as its too short

Got two mages going in levelbot/RAF mode and they run fine....until the zombie dies.

When that happens the leader waits for a short time, and then runs off leaving the zombie to run to his body, rez, and then stand around not finding the leader.


Is there any way to increase this "wait" time? I'm using the inbuilt mage CC with 1.23

No. HB RAF was never designed to be used with a 100% botted group. HB RAF mode was originally designed so the RAF bots would follow a manually played character. As such, you would obviously wait for your character to find its body and resurrect.

As with all great plans of mice and men, it never worked out as originally intended. People thought they could run 100% botted groups or even run fully botted instances.

how bout we say: not yet. the great thing about software is that the mechanics can always be changed. so, are all of these things possible in the future? Yes. Just keep telling hawk&boss what you want and if most users want that too, perhaps it will be instituted ...

Thanks for the replies.

Its working fine if I baby sit it a bit (ie, every 5 levels go learn spells and try to buy as many greens/blues as possible to keep them geared. They don't die very often as long as I do that. And the xp/hour gains from RAF is worth it

Due to another bug that I'm having with RAF, the zombie bot doesn't release from it's body any more with the latest version of HB. This brings up interesting behaviour.

For the entire 6mins of the release timer the leader bot will wait for the zombie to get back, but as soon as the bot releases when the timer runs out, or when the release button is hit the leader gives up on waiting and moves on.

It's like once the zombie is in ghost form, the leader doesn't see any reason to wait any more.

Ok. Ill just delete the logs and run them until one dies again. The current logs are around 100 mbs each.

Both mages were killing a mob, the zombie got agro and died, the leader finished off the mob.

Once the mob died the leader just stood still (didn't loot) and had this as the log:
