Quite lucky to avoid ban

Botted for 4-6 hours a day in the evening on mobs, made 300-400k gold+ and was doing this often and then read all these ban threads and got worried for a while, stopped botting around 2nd/3rd of November because of all these discussions, 11/11 banwave hits and 15/11 banwave and I got away, maybe it has something to do with my account being from 2011? But either way I avoided losing my account altogether and I had a prior botting ban for 1 week back years ago, anyone else get a lucky break and quit botting around the banwave or just me?

Not bragging just FYI wanted to find out if I was just lucky or if people did the same.
