Hey guys, if i remember correctly this question has been asked, i did search for it. But found no real answers.

So, does anyone know why my char kills a mob, then runs to the next one and kills that one, only to run back to the first mob and loot it?

Sometimes it just kills a mob, runs 2-3 hotspots turns back and loots. It looks pretty bottish.

Any suggestions?

Maybe something wrong with the targetting having more of a priority than looting? Try the addon Override.

I'm having the same problem as OP. Tried with Override but without any success.

I have the same problem as well. Using Paladin Convalesce CC. Kill one spider, go and kill the next one, then go back to the first one and loot, and go loot the second one. Weird.

Guys? I had the same problem but i figured out what it was for ME...Anti-virus..!!!
I had pc-tools spywaredoctor with antivirus 2010 running and had the exact same problem as you did. After disabling the AV it stopped bugging out on me.
Just stopping the service won't do. you will need to restart your comp without the AV module(seems scary...i know).
I have seen other forums(other av's) who had the same problem.
Just try it and send a support ticket to your av's support.

PS. plz post what AV you are using so we can compile a list of them...

I don't have any Anti Virus, it still a problem.

No anti-virus running....for how long? You might be infected with some serious malware.... Malware also gets into your comp by just visiting the WWW.
That could also be part of your problem...
Other than clearing your wow cache, i can't see a solution.
So may members are not having this problem, it seems that you might want to take a look at your own computer.

It's a known and common issue. The bot's priorities need to be sorted out.

It's not your AV, that's just ridiculous. On a side note, not having AV isn't a big deal, as long as you have a brain that is.

Like i posted: That is what my problem was.... I had the exact same problem and disabling my AV solved it...so please don't call it ridiculous unless you've got a smart solution to add.
It seemed i was not the first to have solved the problem this way, so I must have made a point.
I'm not in the mood to read flames from those who have nothing to add.

The nav-over-targeting however is a known problem and i'm sure the guys are going to solve that.

let me try to delete the wow cache, and will post the result when realm up again.

I'm not flaming. What I'm getting at is that it's a coincidence, your AV doesn't effect the bot, or WoW in a manner that it would cause HB to forget about looting.

My solution has been to reboot honorbuddy when I begin to notice this behavior. I also noted that with Apoc's Override plugin, it happens far less. That could just be a coincidence.

malware COMES into your comp by JUST visiting the www - believe it or not

That is a fact, unless you run Firefox with NoScript installed

if you run IE - you are dead

And no flash player installed. Latest flash exploit bypassed noscript because it was entirely a flash exploit.

clean wow cache, clean the whole pc, and looting still problem. I hope it normal at high level, because I uncheck loot right now at level 22.

Also. Never run IE. Firefox only, and Noscript was installed.

It was running fine with my Druid, but Paladin is the problem with looting.
