Quick Question - Regarding bans

First, I will say, that I am not trying to troll and this is an honest question.

I spent some time in the "Banned" section recently. I have had no accounts banned and would like to keep it that way.

So, in that light, I was doing some homework on those who have unfortunately been banned, and noticed a interesting pattern.

In the last week, at least 25-30 accounts have been banned (US/EU) these accounts were running MOP 5 man heroic farming setups.

Nothing out of the normal or crazy in these numbers..but interesting that out of all the accounts banned, none of them were healer classes.

One person had two setups, 4/5 banned on one and 4/5 banned on the other, the healer priest being excluded from the bans in both parties.

I started digging deeper, into some older ban posts and this pattern seems to be holding true, healers are untouched by the banhammer.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? It seems that the functions in the Combat/DungeonBuddy are getting flagged but all healing functions are being ignored?

I am a noob developer but this seems to me like a definite red light.

Look to ban section many the same cases.

Not possible probably check somthing like killed mobs per day + dungeons per day/weeks.

Um, wouldn't the priest still get the same exact credit for mobs killed....and dungeons completed? ............

We do not know the exact criteria this is just theory.

What is just a theory? That they do DB queries off mobs killed and dungeons completed? If so, that holds no relevance to my question, because the "healer" would still be getting the same credit for mobs killed and dungeons completed.

The more I look into this...the more it seems that they have figured a way out to flag enyo/combat lua functions, but that is just me.

I'd love to hear other peoples thoughts on this?

Possibly, even bosslands?

what evidence do you have to support this theory?

https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/ban-section-ban-reports/

The number is growing...still nothing to write home to ol mom about...but the timing of patch + bans + no usable data from bossland + forum bans + posts getting deleted = red light

I am not saying that they don't give their updates, because they do, but when we progress past the sea of .

We will give you an update as soon as we know anything - These things take time, all we get, once resolved - "New version pushed".

I understand that there is a measure of smoke and mirrors needed to keep Blizzard in dark but why do I feel that they are not the only ones being kept in the dark?

At this point...the "WoW" dev team is a bunch of snot nosed jr. dev's...with maybe one master senior dev and hardly Blizzard's money maker these days....

I believe the force of dev's that are among the honorbuddy community, dwarf any threat blizzard could pose, architecturally speaking.

I am not asking for full on public announcements...but some solution....where we could unite the HB community to set all of our minds/hearts at ease.

Priests have been getting away with many attrocities over the years ..you may be onto something

Guess Work

i would guess it has to do with movement. my guess is facing the enemy or running directly to it as soon as it moves, would make you easier to spot then a healer hanging in the back ground.

but i have heard of priest accounts getting banned

Sweet deal, i was getting worried for awhile, Good Job Team, the dudes who used it on this patch are not all there or something.
