You need gold because any game out there will think twice about banning paying customers to their games. Think about it if you owned a store and you had a loud mouth come in once a week and buy 500 dollars worth of stuff and you had another loud mouth come in and only buy 1 dollar worth of stuff who would you kick out first? The guy whos buys less stuff. Its simple business

Tankleader is intended to help players of World of Tanks get the most out of the game and doing this without gold is essentially impossible.

Having gold in your account does nothing you dont need gold. Im assuming you need premium but still i dont understand if people want to just bot for the sake of botting why cant they why do they have to pay wargaming there money to get premium whihc they dont even need unless Buddforrum has made some kind of contract to fuck us in the ass

Lol, we obviously haven't made any sort of agreement with Wargaming that requires you to purchase gold. The reason is as stated above, TankLeader is simply not profitable on anything above tier 7; it'll cost ten times as much in repairs as it brings in because it's not as efficient as a human player. Based on that we made the decision that we would require people to have premium before using the bot, but since the game doesn't differentiate between having gold on your account or having premium, we decided either would suffice.
There's a certain truth to what Venom posted as well, they're a money hungry company that will think twice about banning paying customers over non-paying ones. That, however wasn't the reason we implemented the requirement.
Ive worked for tons and tons of gaming companies in many aspects and 99 times out of 100 we never banned paying customers over nonpaying customers. But also at the same time alot of gaming companies need to listen to make every game easier to level up and not take years to do so. I mean war gaming has multiple lines of tanks and to get threw all of them with x10 exp and credits would take several years. I think they need to implement higher credits per match and more exp from them. I mean I played 10 battles without the bot yesterday and got roughly 1k exp lol. Something like that causes people to bot because who wants to sit here and play 200 battles for nothing basically. lol!
