Quick question about updating

I've just updated HB with bnet and wow open and I was wondering if its safe to run HB updates while having Bnet and WoW open or if this adds to the risk of being detected?

Nah, the only thing that gets you (eventually) banned is when you actually start the bot in game with the character. That's when the risk starts.
