Quick question about Healing in PVP gear

So I LOVE PvP and I hate getting all ilvl 371 then pve gear to heal. Is it possible to heal in the ilvl 371 pvp gear in heroic modes such as troll heroics without going oom and doing really good? Because I'd rather just obtain the gear that drops in the troll heroics rather than save up more honor points

I was wondering the same thing for my druid. I would imagine the 371 gear would be close to as good as the 353 troll gear. You would have more spirit but be missing all the crit/haste that the resil takes up. You would also have more int and gem slots. There shouldn't be too much of a difference.

i have full 371 vics pvp gear and i heal both troll heroics fine, no deaths, mana is ok, i also healed 4/7 Firelands 12/12 bot/bwd/tot4w all in the pvp gear using ultimatepalladinhealer

only thing i do is equip pve trinkets

Did you reforge anything?

Back before 4.2 I would buy up all of the crafted PVP pieces and also some honor pieces.
I would reforge according to theorycrafters.
I rarely had any problem with mana.
The only way I would go OOM is when other members of my party would make stupid mistakes, causing me to use the expensive heals.

EDIT: Running ZA/ZG heroics and BOT/BWD

You could easy heal all heroics and maybe even the first few bosses in raids with il371 PvP gear.
