quick Noob questions

Hey all,

What a great community! I am having massive trouble with my D3 crashing due to the bot, so I havent had much time to actually test out the bot. I'm not here for support, but while i'm waiting for help I was hoping some nice people here could answer some really dumb questions from me.

1) I have a fresh D3 account, and I know it will play all acts but does it do a good job from a brand new character and level it all the way?

2) I picked a monk as my first character.. if its fresh, how does it actually allocate skills as it levels? or do I have to do it manually? I see people mention profiles for builds, but i'm not sure how I put in that I want to use a certain build.. Is it something beyond standard trinity?

I'm sure i'll think of more, but those were the two sticking out in my mind. the 1 punch monk sounded fun so was thinking of that but for now until 60 or so he just needs to level.. i wanted to see if DB would accomplish that goal.

First, don't start with Monk, use Wizard or Crusader starting out. Read guides and forums, you will find out why.


Go through the item pages of Trinity and setup your bot to auto-equip gear and skills.

Join powerleveling community to get leveled, do not use the bot while doing this, it will take 10-30 minutes and you can do it now without the bot.

After you get leveled to 70, ask your leveler for a T2 Kulle kill.

Claim your 4 pieces of Haedrig's Gift and put them on.

Look in D3fans or in Guide section for builds and skills.

Set the bot to run nephalem rifts and see what Torment level you can use by babysitting the bot. Most than 2 deaths or 7-8 minutes is bad and you should drop difficulty level.

Let bot run for a few hours.

Come back, go through stash and gear up, raise Torment level appropriately.

Turn off Trinity Auto-Equip settings.

Let bot run a few hours. Come back, go through stash. Raise Torment if gearing is better. Rinse and repeat until you can do Torment 6.

Once you can do T6, create a GRift 20. Complete it for your last piece of Haedrig's Gift.

Equip the entire 6 piece set and look for guides for that set here or on D3fans.

Rinse and repeat your normal rifts as long as you want or do some more low level GRifts to get legendary gems if you have socketed jewelry.

Do bounties to get crafting items for the cube.

Go do the runes of sescheron to unlock Kanai's Cube

Cube items needed to increase your build's abilities. Again, see guides as needed.

Buy 3 more account Licenses and copies of DB w/ROS.

Download and use Autofollow.

Use your first account to powerlevel the other 3 in regular rifts (set follower profile to "FollowerPowerlevel" in the Plugin > AutoFollow folder).

Use first account to do T2 Kulle.

Equip 4 piece sets for all accounts.

Have all 4 accounts run regular rifts with the first account as leader and all followers using the "FollowerCombat" profile.

Let bot run a few hours. Come back, go through stash. Raise Torment if gearing is better. Rinse and repeat until you can do Torment 6.

Learn how to use ItemList to cutdown on your stash maintenance (there is a sticky in the plugin forums).

That should keep you busy for awhile.
