Questions regarding update and beta build.

I've been searching the forums but haven't yet been able to find what I was looking for. I understand that honorbuddy isn't working right now due to 5.1. But after seeing a few people post links to the beta build I tried to use that instead. Is that currently working? If so why does it continue to say "Authentication Failed" and is this message due to 5.1? I have read guides on how to download etc. but have never successfully opened honorbuddy due to 5.1 being released. Long story short; is "Authentication Failed" due to this patch or am I personally doing something wrong? I don't mind being patient but I'm just looking for some clarification.

on both versions you shouldnt get authentication failed at all, on the old version build 515, it should still login, just fail to attach and yell at you, the beta should login then ether have problems or yell at you ether way, you shouldnt get auth failed.

are you sure the key your using to login is the same one listed when you login to buddyauth?

Yeah, mine just thinks it's stuck all the time and kinda walks back and forth trying to get to the hotspot lol

^^ What Codename said - if it does attach, it will probably mount, walk a couple of steps and unmount.

You're probably just better off to wait until an official release in the next few days.

if you havent make sure to report the post in the beta thread so our developers can look into it and get it resolved.

register on the buddyauth website with the same e-mail you used during checkout.

once your loggin in click on Key, and you should be able to view your keys.
THAT is the key you wanna be using.

I directly copied and pasted the key from my buddy auth and it's still saying Authentication Failed on both beta and regular honorbuddy

Also, is it supposed to say Max Sessions? It is saying Max Sessions, Authentication Failed. I only have one session. Is it saying failed because it's trying to load more than one session?

Well now that I deleted all of the old honorbuddy stuff and re-downloaded it the authentication failed message has stopped and been replaced with the "You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to" message. Does this mean i'm good to go when it's ready for 5.1?

For making sure it totally works ( logs in attaches etc ) make sure from the launcher, since it is patch day and resets to defaults, just to be safe, put it on direct x 9 and 32 bit client ( yes I know it supports etc but I had an issue with it personally ) also make sure you are launching from the wow.exe not through the launcher. All this was covered on the post for new users if you had read it.

I do not think that it is updated for 5.1 yet.
It just came up man.
I would asume that it would come some time, during the day tho.
