Questions Regarding Patch + DB Update

I saw the sticky post for Patch update 2.0.3

It had a link regarding wow buddy updates. Do those all apply for Demon buddy as well?

I'm also curious if it's every single update that DB will be down to see if it's safe. I'm asking since the post was for patch 2.0.3 and not for 2.0.4 and 2.0.5 just came out today.

on every major patch there is DB downtime for the updates

when the bot is updated, is there an easy way to tell it has been, instead of reloading the bot over and over?
