questions about using a 2nd account for botting

Hey everyone, I have been botting with honorbuddy in my main account for like 4 months now.
Made enough gold to buy some gear and cool mounts, got a guild's bank full of enchant materials and gems. I also lvl'ed some of my toons with Kicks profile. But the truth is, I really care about this account.. and I've been lucky so far, since I also used pirox back then (only for honor tho).
So I got myself a 2nd account that I am planning on using exclusively for botting for some hours a day/night. (I am not a gold seller, I just use the gold and the bot to get me items that I wouldn't be able to have without it!

I have this question tho:
Let's say that I play with my main account during the day and that I want to bot with my 2nd account during the night, for lets say 8 hours in 2 different places. For my main account to be safe, I just need to change my ip right?
For all the farming materials and gold I'd be using my guild's bank..!

Any tip, or information are welcome! I just wanna make sure my main account is safe :]
 
Back when glider got racked down i used MMomimi, and got banned on my main account. The other accounts on my battle.net acc wasent affected :) I think ( don?t relally know for sure ) that blizzard only ban that specific account and leave the others since its diffrent products :) Hope this helps a bit :) Sorry for my poor english :(

BUT - If you have any contact with your botting account and main account ill think they can look it up - so be carefull :)
 
Get a guild that isn't too obvious that you two are linked. No need in changing your IP, if you're flagged on him, you're flagged. You won't get unflagged. They won't ban your account unless he was involved gold selling or botted. IF they HAPPEN to have some logs that say your guy was botting and they flagged him, you will more likely get banned with using this second account. I advise you don't ever mail to your main account, that will throw up a flag eventually or very quickly. Trust me, your account will be safe as long as he wasn't flagged originally and you NEVER bot on him again :D
 
Yeah mates, I believe my account never got flagged. Never had any issues with bans, never had people saying they would report me or whatsoever, and I want to keep it like that that's the main reason I am thinking about botting only in this second account I bought. =)

But the fact that I will need to trade a lot of gold and mats between the two accounts is kinda scaring me :p
I was thinking about getting all the mats from my botting account to my main account through guild bank and then sell everything with my main account. This way I'd never have to trade any gold between both :) But that's what Iam thinking.. I may be very wrong, thats why I started this, to know the opinion of people who do this longer than me :p

Then again, since I am not using the gold to sell it for real money, I could also stack it up on my bot account until I had enough gold for a mount, or some piece of equipment.. then I'd just buy the item leave it on the guild for my main account. But its still risky, if I get that 2nd account banned I lose all the gold :p I dunno ahha.

DON'T DO THAT...trade the gold through the guild bank, works best.
 
oh ok mate thanks for letting me know :)
I thought I'd be safe with it, since a lot of ppl are buying mats in bulk (like ores and herbs).

But I might aswell just trade the gold in the guild bank then.. its not like Iam moving massive amounts of gold everyday.. If I get 10 or 15k a day I am happy :)
