Questions about my first gold sale..

Hey folk,

i kinda wanna test out the market a little bit, so I just picked one of my farmin servers and put up 10k for auction.. think it gonna sell for somewhere between 15 and 20 euros.

So now that the auction is starting to run out I realized i have no clue on how to do the transfer to keep the farming account save.

Atm the gold is on the bank toon.

I thought i'll need a vanilla key for selling, but how to get the money to the vanilla account, without risking a ban for the farming acc?

As long as you're not selling the gold to chinese companies, you dont have to worry too much. At least in my experience, selling to private buyers doesnt lead to bans really often.

For the gold transaction, I guess inviting into the guild and then withdrawing the gold is the safest way.

I usually post on wow-trading forums and make a thread there.
Another way is, when I happen to sell to a chinese company, I spam on the servers I have gold on in the trade channel something like "In need of gold but sick of these chinese spammers? add my icq #####" because the account will get banned for goldselling anyway

i sell 60k gold to a chinese company every 2 weeks and my account has never been banned.. i make a level 1, grab the gold out of guild bank and deposit it into the buyers guild bank and then i delete character

Like Shock18 said, guild bank would be safest.
Private buyers would be better to sell to rather then a company that may have a flagged account.

i sold my gold straight from my farming account, less than 10k each trade, so far so good. www.offgamers.com

the only banning i got was i botted 24/7~ but its all good since the gold i sold cover all my cdkey and i get to earn some too~ too bad i had to level new account again, but hey, i get another lv80 in a week or two~ the free 30days from the standard key alone can get me pretty good return~ =)

okay i guess i'll use a vanilla key for the transaction, and use it again and again and again untill the key expires ^^.. then i'll get a new one ^^

i'll invite my vanilla key char to the gbank of the bankier, get the money to the vanilla acc and to f2f with the customer..

i sold these 10k on ebay for 1,7 euro which is ~ $2,2 / 1000g seems pretty good to me.

i sell them everyweeks since i started to bot. pretty nice price and nothing to complain about.

ohya, one thing to complain, its quite hard to sell the gold since offgamers only open the server if they need it, often time i see all server status "Full" , LOL

LOL, I'm afraid that your vanilla account will not last that long, but anyway, better just wait and see. Maybe things are not as bad as I imagine...

My only advice for you is keeping the vanilla account as far as possible from your 80 account. Losing a vanilla key is only a $18 loss, losing a level 80 account is much bigger loss in time, effort and monetary term.
