Questions About Cheat Detection ( Non-WoW Related )

I was wondering about how games detect that you are running a cheat and whats legal for them to scan for. I have spent the last few hours searching google and have found nothing of real use.

Sorry for my computer illiteracy !!


The game I am now Trying to run a hack on is Nitto1320 Legends.
Its a shockwave flash based game that you download and install.

I am using this program called nittoassist. I know its java based. I think its like a AutoIt program cause you can't touch the computer while its running. It takes control of your mouse and moves it around. NittoAssist Website Link= http://sites.google.com/site/nittoassist/features

There is great potential to make some real cash in this game. There paying $30 bucks per million game cash. One of my computers makes a million per day. Now multiply that by 8 computers there is a potential to make $240 bucks a day per PC and $7,200 a month. Tax free easy cash. Far more than I can ever make off warcraft.

They did a update a while back and all I had to do was rename the nittoassist.Jar file to something different. Like I named it Ventrillo.Jar and it wasn't detectiable. They just did another update today though and its now banning accounts in about 2 hours. It was doing PC bans, but now is only doing pc bans if you race live online with nittoassist. While running the computer tourny to make game cash its not doing pc bans. Which is all I run computer tournys. When Pc banned I just change my Ethernet MAC Address only and bypassing there PC ban. I use SMAC and its a 2 click 30 second change. I create a new account and go back at it for an hour in a half. Race my mule accounts and transfer money. Creating accounts don't require a email address or any verification, So that makes it easy enough to keep creating accounts. But babysitting the pc is kinda poopish. I got an alarmclock set every hour in a half to let me know to mule and recreate. I mean for $7,200 a month its surely worth it.


When you open task manager and you got NittoAssist running it comes up as JavaW.exe which I was told anything Java based program that runs will come up as.

So what could they possiably scanning for to detect this program ?
Any way to bypass this ?

heres the thing, i couldnt find any information on the kind of anti-cheat measures they use, if any. the best thing to do is get on their fourms, and see what the community is doing. asking a WoW Botter how to Bot Aion, isnt going to know what to do, and its the same case here. figure out what others are doing, and get into the scene, im sure your not the only one.
 
They heavy monitor there forums. They run votes and elect people to be mod's. Anything hinting anywhere close to a cheat or asking questions about there detection will result in a ban and be erased from the forum. Hence the reason I was asking what can they legally be scanning threw on my pcs as a possiable detection method. Can they scan my memory ? If so is there a way to block memory scans. Anything run threw java will come up as JavaW.exe, so if there scanning processes are they able to break down what the JavaW.exe is actually linked to ? Is it a HDD scan ? are those legal ?

i dont mean the game forms, i mean the ones for the "Helper" program, it would be stupid to make a post on the blizzard forms asking when glider will be back.
 
The guy that made nittoassist is a total boob. He is clueless.. lol I have been talking with him.
 
warden used to scan every file on your computer that was running, every email, every website, everything you did it would check against its list of flags..

Then they started getting in shit over privacy implications of wardan scanning people doing online banking and whatnot... now warden doesnt scan your computer as hard, it watches itself, at least that's what my understnading is after 3ish years @ mmowned


The fact is we are technically in the "dark ages" of the internet world, where almost anybody is allowed to do almost anything.. look at sony's anti-piracy software.. for example.. it's far more damaging to people's p.c's then most viruses are.
If all you have to do to avoid their latest security patch is rename the file... they might just be calling functionnames, which is pretty basic stuff. they could also be logging how much time you spend, or the "bot" might just be using color samples to click on stuff like the old wow fishbots, or fps shooters... and they might have added a pixel of the same color hidden somewhere no human could see it that flags for a ban...

That said, the best laid plans of mice and men... 7200/month is best possible senario in a constant market of which you are the only supplier... sooo... yea.. basically don't quit your day job.

I would say that as long as the bot doesnt interact directly with the game (injection or memory editing/reading) they cant really ban u, except for excessive playtime, noone plays for 20 hours without a break ^^
And banning u for having the java compiler running seems abit wierd, since not only bots use that, i used to have a addon updating that was made in java. It would seem a little weird if they banned u for having that running on ur system ^^

If you don't know what you're talking about, don't bother posting.

Warden only scanned window title names. That's it. It didn't care what you were running, etc. It just matched certain names against a hash, and that was it. (AKA: very far from privacy invasion, or anything remotely close)
 
Apparently what I have read is that they are not allowed to scan the processes running on your computer only what is being injected into the actual game.

I may be wrong though that is just what I have read.
 
Most they could really do is see if certain things existed on your computer, they won't be able to scan computer memory or processes or any of that crap.
 
Well I think it maybe like a window title check. The program is actually a java based autoit. So there is nothing injected into the game.
 
Yes, I have received a few grand over the years !! There really hasn't been any bots for this game though. I remember about 5 years back there was one called APOC that was very short lived perhaps 4 months and they picked up on it. Then the guy never tried to keep it going. This new one the guy is very new to programming and is learning as he goes. He is clueless as of now to whats making his prog detected. Maybe because the games not advertised and isn't very well known that noone has seen the potential in the money that can be made off this game. There is paid memberships you can buy to get parts for your cars that are not availiable to the regular user. You can also buy points to purchase exclusive cars and parts. I trade game cash for those vehicles and parts and sell them also. I've made my money by racing legit and owning people in pink slip races then selling there cars. The nitto community is very shady !!! They have no trust in anyone. There is 900 billion scammers on there. There is no way someone could just suddenly start playing and selling game cash. I've played this game for 7 years now, on and off. I have a great reputation. For a few years I was a moderator for the game and forums. I stepped down due to wanting to make a profit off the game and it wouldn't be right to moderate and break all the rules. This bot is only about a month old now. There has never been a way to make a million game cash in one day !!! This usually takes atleast 3 months. You need to win 6 sport cup races in a row to make 800 game cash. Sports Cup Tourny you need to be within .05 of your dial in time, and you need under a .535 reaction time or your knocked out the tourny and must try again. Then you need to pay engine dmg on your vehicle , oil changes, race gas, traction control fluid. There is just so so much against you !! Before every tourny there is a code that you must enter to try and stop bots. Thats how they killed APOC. This guys program somehow hits next and back 20 times and takes samples of the code then figures out the code and types it in to start the tourny. At best its only getting a 45% success rate on the code reader.

There is atleast 10 moderators on at all times. You will never see an advertisment within the game for someone selling game cash. You will write your ad one time and be PC Banned and account banned. I have never seen a webstie that sells game cash either. Why I dunno. I can bypass there PC Bans by changing my Ethernet MAC Address. Not all ethernet cards are able to change there mac addresses though. So you gotta be sure you got the proper ethernet to do this. I am just lucky that the intergrated ASUS motherboard ethernet is one thats able to do so. They don't slack on cheat detection either. They will release 20 updates in one day if they need to.
