Question with selling..

I'm doing my research on which server I want to move to for profit, and my buyer that I used for EQ2 is kind of a big supplier for most currency websites, they quoted me $1.7/K or $51 for 30k (would xfer that with me to cover the transfer costs for 2 toons)..

That seems awfully low, does anyone else pay this low to websites (they only buy when they have demand so they're doing middle man work which is why its lower)? I was looking at another website that paid $63 to sells for 30kg and then checked out PA where 30kg is going for $80 (which is direct to the buyer of course but 30 dollars is a huge difference).

Anyone chime in their opinion? I know moneys money at the moment but $1.7/K is pretty low.

I'm also worried if it's worth it, I mean sure being their only supplier for a top 10 demand server sounds awesome, but I've read around here how it can be a PITA cause of player reports and other people using the profiles around here causing bots to arrive on the same points.. more risky.

I'm considering going to a top77 server (as they said it haha) which is also $1.7/K but probably not as risky.

i sell at $1.6/k but he has a high demand at over 100k a week, i supply him atleast 50k a week so its all good. I sold him 135k today like 3 hours ago. (personal goldbuyer)

That's comical because it's pusada who I'm talking about. They usually gave me high prices for EQ2 which would compete with PA and IGXE but hey jeez 1.9 for you and 1.7 for me, I'll have to ask them I'm sure they'll come up to 1.9. How many bots do you use for one server? I was thinking of doing a miner and a herbalist, hoping I can meet demands. I like pusada because it was less risk in EQ2 since they don't have me deliver to buyers, usually a website I think. How much fo you think two bots can pull in a week? Thought was like 30k/week. Trying to get a picture of what I can supply etc. Thanks for the tips, I'll figure it out once bot is back up.

Think that sucks with pusada is they like to have demand come in at 6 am lol, woke me up this morning for 1500 plat (which is down to $5/100 from $7/100, hence my move to wow).

I'm still wondering since the server I'm considering is HIGH pop.

Ah really? I thought it was just the eq2 scene since they came out with the F2P model. For wow it's probably just for now until the expansion. I'll probably do the xfers once the bots up again. Thanks

The gold market is steadily falling due to bots like GB/HB being so good and so easily accessible and there being less demand for gold.

It will improve a bit around Cata, but I suspect that it'll just plummet again after that, if it even goes up. Plenty of people are stockpiling waiting for that 'golden egg' when Cata releases, which is just going to offset any rise in demand by flooding it even more than before.

I sell for 1.90 on a US server. It really does depends on how desperate they are, they offered me 1.70 at the start then I said another company was offering me 2.00 so there like we can do 1.90 at the highest. Just haggle a bit and say your getting higher offers from others it may work for you and even if they don't take the bait there will be no negatives from doing it.

Yeah I just got 1.90 from them by asking off the bat when they had demand on the server I'm on. They said its 229th ranked for demand, not sure how good that is but its supposedly 30k demand a week which seems low if I have one miner, one herber, and a smoker going. The other server I was looking at they say is 131k a week which with two bots might be over my head?
