Question to the programmers here .... Custom Behavior & Co - Svarnos (TB)

Hello,
I have a problem with the Svarnos Quest in TB. Its the quest where you need the necklace from the hell hound. The toon goes to the entrance of the cave where there is a ton of aggro and of course because of the fast respawn after some time the toon get killed without ever going to the hell hound.

It would be smarter if it just rush through, down the stairs and then wait at the last stair ignoring all the aggro from above. The most of them go back to their spawn point.

But how to handle this? Can you give me a hint how I can tell the toon for just this one quest that it should run down to a particular point and ignoring all aggro till it reaches that hotspot?

there's a behavior called "NoCombatMoveTo" that will force the toon to move to a location, while disregarding combat.
 
if your pull range is high then it should decide to kill a mob before it body pulls it and subsequently its alot more controlled, i normally set mine to just within the range of spells.. so if its a paladin and i want it to exorcism pull perhaps, i set it to 34yds, balance druid 39yds.. due to the time for the bot to detect the mob it can run in a little closer but not far enough to be a problem. if you were to set it to 45 yds then the bot would pick the target, would be out of range to cast and the CC would move it in just close enough to cast

for what you want to attempt you could try turning off the kill between hotspots and have the questorder change the pull range to 0 and that would make it charge in.. then change it back when you are in the right location

personally i think its a bad idea, svarnos isnt that far inside so you would still have mobs all the way from the entrance and svarnos to handle all at once but its your repair bill
 
CodenameG: Thanx for the info I will try that out. I hope I find out how this Custom Behaviors work
Zeewolf: Your hints work yes - but I will do all the 12 quests without changing anything. And svarnos is the only one I have problems (except the quest where you have to shoot boats and magnetism of course).

that works great, but if you have a weak toon... well, you're going to die quickly =P

also, i have a tb pen and tb bh profile out for ally :)

This quest makes me crazy. Ok its done in 1 minute and no work. But I try a perfect profile for TB (Horde) and I dont like to say - this quest must be made manually.

yes, but make sure you pair it with the plugin "open that stuff" in the plugins folder of my 1-85 profile pack
