Question reguarding botting on multiple accounts

I am new to botting. Only been at it a week and trying to read as much as i can on the subject, however there is some info i cannot seem to locate so
forgive me if it already exists here on the forums.

I have two accounts. My Main, and my botting. The are not paired. My botting account is completely separate from my main, e-mail and all.
However i have thought of merging the accounts under one name and e-mail to give new toons heirlooms and such. (if i can do that)
And also to transfer max lvled toons to my main account.

If i were to get caught and suspended/banned for botting on my one account (AFTER linking accounts) Would my main account also be suspended/banned?

No the account you get caught on will be banned. I have my accounts merged but its best to keep your bot account separate. Meaning you can have them set under the same battlenet account. If you are caught botting on your 2nd acct. It will get banned but main will remain active.
