Question regarding the db banwave to wow botters.

Well i know this is not the right section since i am a db diablo 3 botter but i was wondering if i could ask a simple question for comparison.

Today we probably had the first diablo 3 banwave and i was wondering if anything like this had happened to wow (1k+ accoutns got banned today). Some people are afraid that demonbuddy and d3 botting is over, had anything like this happened in wow, coz i see there are a lot of wow botters to this very day, so how do you see the future of d3 botting from a wow point of view ?

1000 accounts sounds really low for a banwave.
Check the ban section, every one and then Blizzard banslots of accounts at once, just start up again

In the 7ish years I've been playing wow I have had 6 accounts banned all across banwaves one of the more famous banwaves was the glider/ISX(cant remember the name for the bot) in 2007 June+ -I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) there was 100k+ accounts banned everyone that used glider up to 6 months back and few other bots were detected.

Oh the uproar on the forums the amount of crying (I did alot of crying).

Getting too the point, botting will always exist if someone wants it easier they will find a way.

Most people bot and turn a profit, I'm sure they will just buy another account and continue on.

i was a part of a ban wave during glider days, i bought a new account was banned 5 mins later, left wow lol. came back in wrath.
