Question regarding safety

Hi all, im sorry i know you guys get hammered with questions regarding safety, but i was just wondering.
the only botting im really interested in doing atm is for a bit of gold, i was wondering if it would be relatively safe to just fish in the one spot? if im moving every hour or so and doing a bg etc.
will blizz still be able to pick up that im botting if i get no player reports?

Hello there aaronlee123,

Yes you can be banned, even with no reports on you. Blizzard do these bans in banwaves. As soon as you attach Honorbuddy to wow you could get flagged. But for now we assume that Honorbuddy is safe to use. But we cant be sure about this.

Its taking a risk, so if you cant risk being banned, you shouldnt bot at all.

ah okay thanks so much for the quick reply, ive logged onto my character using honorbuddy previously? is there anything i need to do? eg delete honorbuddy? or is it just detectable when launching wow through honorbuddy?

You may have honorbuddy on your computer, and you can also launch wow through the launcher. You can only be detected if you Attach honorbuddy client to wow.

But if its a long time ago you used HB you are probable safe. I use HB myself, and I've never had a ban on my account.

It also really depends on what your doing. Having had 7 different accounts banded over 3 years, the only real thing I see - NEVER leave your bot unattended. Even if its supposed to be an AFK script or whatever - you should always be very aware it could do some really stupid thing and make it so obvious, people play Diablo can tell your botting!

Just be smart about it - an hour in one spot could be suspect - at least, I would think so.

Botting is NEVER safe - there is always a risk.

Everyone is different but I would fish in the same spot for about 10 hours a day in my garrison in WoD. I think you'll be ok, just keep your self under control and I think youll be fine.

I've been banned multiple times with this bot. Here's my suggestion - don't EVER disable tripwire. When an update drops the devs of this bot will scramble to have a working bot before making sure that it's actually safe. Tripwire remains enabled until you manually disable it on this site and until the devs are sure it's safe. Don't do it for longer than 18 hours a day. Also, the bot will not protect you against others who report you. Once an investigation is done, Blizzard will investigate and find scripted routines for 18 hours and ban. If you level up your fishing skill at an insane speed, you'll likely be flagged and investigated (where they will see that you were botting). All for now. Good luck.

So i have a question that i feel goes with this thread and isn't worth starting another if someones going to see it here. I bought HB during MoP, so my lifetime license is over. I botted quiet a bit during that time, mostly farming Ghost Iron Ore, but never more than 4h and I was always attended. I used the bot mostly for CR in PvP in 2s. I was playing during the banwave in 2016, but hadn't had honorbuddy attached for like a month prior. So i guess I didnt get hit or im not suspcious enough? I would like to buy a month and try the bot in Legion, and my question is do you think ill be okay just using HB for CR in raids/2s? Is that something that if investigated, they could tell during my raid times I was extra better than normal lol? (I understand using this program whatsoever I have a risk of ban)
