Question Regarding Multiboxing / Bots

I've started botting yesterday again after a 2 year break. Haven't been banned so far.

However, I have a question regarding a situation/scenario.

I've had a Bot run on one of my Accounts, while I was logged in to the other Account (2 exe running). I played on the second Account whilst in a Rift with my Bot Account for about 5-10 minutes (manually playing it).
Is that a bannable offense? Does it raise flags?

If anyone has a clue, let me know.

Cheers and thanks in advance.

Blizzard has been known to ban "clean" accounts that are associated with bot accounts.

Your clean accounts have lower chance of being banned, but still possible.

Based on what do they ban a "clean" Account if it hasn't been botted on?

Do they go by IP Address? Because if so, there's a bunch of Accounts I could expect a ban on without actually having botted on them.

They'll mostly go on several factors, however I believe if a non botted account benefits from a botted account, you may receive a 2 day ban or a warning, that would include trading over items if they were gained in the same game, and traded within the 2 hour window you have.

I haven't traded anything. Literally just joined and played around for a bit. I was bored as one may presume.

This brings me to another question. If a friend that I'm sharing my Account with for years joins my party, while I'm botting, is he subject to a ban as well?

*mindblown*
