Hello there Buddyforum, and fellow botting brothers and sisters. I have been browsing the forum thin, but i can't seem to find a valid answer,
So i decided to make a forum post.

- My question goes;

I level bot (questing) from 100-110, on account "A" only using this account for botting, same name/etc. As my main account "B".
I am soon 110, on the first "project" - I am now curious if i get banned if i migrate my newly botted toon to my main account?

Will it be a cursed character, and hit my main account aswell? Even though i never opened Honorbuddy on account "B" ?
A couple of friends have told me they are doing this, and migrating them to main account after the leveling is done, which made me consider it aswell.
But i'd like to hear some response from you people on the forums. I am fully aware the moment i injected Honorbuddy on the bot account it was "dead"
Tho if i can get punished for migrating the character over, it's not worth it for me. Which is why i am curious if it's safe so to speak?

to answer your question, I have done this many times before, but in WOD and MOP, bot account has the same name as my main account and I used to transfer the character I botted to my main account after I was satisfied I had farmed enough gear for me to want to play it legit. My main account has never been banned for any kind of cheating and it's 12 years old now. The bot accounts got banned eventually but I had no comebacks to my main. I've done it with around four characters.

I don't know why but my gut is just telling me not to do it in Legion, I have 3 level 110s I would love to move and play on my main account but I just think they go more into depth these days when banning and are checking that sort of stuff now.

Let us know how you get on, I am not going to risk it though, I have always wondered if a Character on a realm gets a few reports, they investigate and find the character is not on that server anymore but its been moved to another battlenet, do they just ignore what happened, because you obviously move the bot to another account on another server with a different name.

there's a major problem with your logic though...

How do you know when they're going to get banned?

It wont matter now as hes moved the char to his main battlenet account, they will just ban the old battlenet that the account was on, thats what we think anyway.
