Question regarding bans and playing with bots

I set up an alternate account to use for botting. I presently have a DH that I set to do Act 1 bounties and gear itself up.

I want to be able to play along side my bot so that I don't have to deal with people I don't know and so that I can trade gear between them.

Now for the question: Has anyone had their primary account (not botting) banned for playing WITH an account that is botting?

ive been botting with my main, and running around with a secondary for almost a year now. still live and kicking.

generally when they ban they will ban all the accts associate with the ip you are running on so its a risk either way, some ppl can bot for a week and get banned other have botted for years with no ban, its really just random, there are things that will of course increase your chance to get banned but you can read more about those in this section

So, if they ban D3 account, will they ban the other game son the account like wow, HS, SC?

that doesnt sound right. they would also ban ALOT of unguilty accounts, just think about university or roommates.
and i like the idea of using a second account to gear up, looks like thats the only method right now to gear up your main account safely.

or even roommates. I would think that have to have good reason to ban you, and because your account is on the same ip as someone else botting is not a good reason. Is there anyone here that has had 1 account banned for botting and 1 safe(aka. non-botting) account either get banned or not banned as well to confirm this conversation?

had my bots banned but my non botting accounts (mains) survive in the past and in the present
