Question of being under investigation

Say u have a feeling that you are under investigation for botting, so using that certain toon that was reported 4 botting wouldnt be a good idea, but, can u still uses another toon on a different server? or does blizzard keep an eye on you on other toons on other servers aswell?

don't think anyone on this forum has any idea, only thoughts. I don't think they keep track on all chars. I find that simply sick, but same server probably yea. But other servers would be ok IMO..

If they are investigating you then they'd probably look at all of your characters that have been logged in on in a certain time period. You can still use the characters you've been botting on, just dont bot on them for a while.

but seriously, yeah .. try doing a few easy quests by hand and buy some stuff at the AH ... make it look like you actually play ... can't hurt anything ... and if they are investigating you ... they can easily find any toon on the same account or other account that may be linked by name, email or same payment history as in paypal account or credit card ... so, my suggestion is: stop botting that account for a while, if you have other accounts that you believe could not be linked to the account under investigation bot on those ones ... oh yeah, go to a capital city and start saying something in trade chat ... they may check chat logs too so go and tell some chuck norris jokes or anal jokes ... you never know ... anal jokes may save your account.

I would keep botting
When you want to logout to avoid ban, keep it logged in, just to increase the chance of ban. Also, you might want to change name to something like: Ilovebotting or something.
