Question. If the GM gets banned what happens to the gold/items in the guild bank?

My understanding is that at some point, Bliz will approach one of the active guild members, and make arrangements to select a new guild leader. Not completely sure about this tho, nor the timeframe in which the do this.

What about the people that have access to the guild bank.

As far as other members of the guild know the gm has jusst stopped playing.. the GM's are not allowed to name people that have been banned

So Yes the guild will go on as it had in the past

After a timeframe, you will be able to select an option to take control of the guild if you are the next in line rank wise.

This it was added sometime in cata I believe. After about 30days of inactivity the guild officers will be offered by the game to take control of the guild or they will have the option to become guild master.
