Question: How to become a great profile creator

Good morning everyone. Today I have a simple question and that is how do you become a great profile maker. More to the tune of what can I do on my off time to learn the more in-depth of the process. I know there are guides that show you how to make a basic profile but that doesn't mean that he/she will understand what is going on. I guess my question is if I want to teach myself through online classes what would I look at on educating myself? I know this is something I will not learn over night but I have to start somewhere.
