Hi there,

How do I configure DB so that it does not automatically identify legs? I have tried to check the checkbox in Trinity but it does not seem to be doing the tricks. Any thoughts?

Thanks :)

do you use armory as well? If so, disable that, see if that fixes it.

Same issue here, would love to get answer to this !

Did you do fresh install of latest beta? I did fresh install + Trinity .17, .18 is not working correctly with latest DB beta.

Armory is not the issue here.

It is Trinity 1.8.18 that is the issue here not properly recognizing the option in Armory.

I am running latest Armory + 1.8.17 Trinity and the option works.

Don't forget to uncheck "Use book of Cain" as well as that identifies all items on you when used.

Again, this is a KNOWN Trinity 18 issue, but is not being resolved so most people using Armory go back to Trinity 17 which both uses Legendary Potions AND the Do-not-ID legs options correctly.

Personally I dont think it is a good idea. It may not increase your risk at all, but if Blizz uses Analytics to find botters (and I think they do) then identifying a bunch of Legs at once would be a red flag IMO. Normal people ident as soon as they can incase it is an upgrade. Obviously the servers already keep track of such information, as seen by the guild notification tab (N = Hotkey). If I was looking for botters that would be one of the things I checked. If I saw someone who was consistently identifying 5+ legs at a time then I would flag the account for further investigation.

Granted that is ENTIRELY conjecture. Doing so may pose no further risk to your account than normal botting. And one can argue that normal players may save up their legs for personal reasons... The joy of spamming guild chat, to lessen the chances of not finding a single good item, etc. The question becomes is it worth the possibility of that risk?

That's absurd, you want to know why?

I know tons of players whom wait to identify on their alts because they have all the gear they want on their main. So they farm legs on their main and then they put them unid'ed into their stash so their other characters can ID them so the legs are focused towards them. Stats are rolled based on the class that ID's them. So you don't end up with primary stat of str on an item meant for a WD or w/e.

Just saying, that's a false line of thinking.

Item rolls on drop, IDing them on other characters do jack shit. And it was like that since forever. And if anything, this "red flag" is the last thing Blizzard will look for, most streamers farm 10-50 legendaries and ID them at the same time. But don't come up with BS explanation lol.

You're both wrong lol. They roll on drop as other user said, you can do that with cache's (I believe, but even I am be wrong here), yes, but not leg's, those roll on drop. Not ID.

However no, they added a feature to the game that almost everone in my clan uses, keep things unid'd untill book of cain, since they're prob not an upgrade and just salvage for forgotten souls material.
