Question for those with AMD FX - 8120 / 8150 CPU

Kick whats your contact information i have a question for you since we both use ISBoxer was wondering if u knew how to do somthing.

I just use the shortcut by right clicking your char set --> send to desktop. It works that way.

Yes but i want to make it into a shortcut so if the client loses connection and if DB closes the daiblo client, i can have arelogger or another scheduler program reopen it and login using isboxer link.

instead of manually right clicking innerspace > Character set > bot set name > one that crashed.

that's what I meant... i send the shortcut to the desktop - see the 'send to desktop' ?

I assume that's what you're asking?

or are you wanting to launch a particular slot shortcut?

interesting.. never noticed the launch from within the isboxer config i was looking at making a profile shortcut from innerspace program game management and then adding -launch set name on the target line. Let me try that way.

Kick your a life saver, Kick have you tried using the shortcut as the launcher for the diablo client in Arelogg?

Intel is shit.

read the following: AMD quits benchmark group, implying Intel bias | Nanotech - The Circuits Blog - CNET News

Not only did AMD Quit, But Nvidia also Walked out on it too. Intel is Crap only reason why idiots think its good is because of shit like above and people are now finding out and going to a better company.

Not to mention AMD has better Multi-thread handling then intel.

lol -.- ahh so much fail

Sorry not gonna get into a debate with someone who obviously lacks knowledge..

Why because all you can come up with is biased benchmarks that test stuff intel is strong in? Intel isn't shit it does perform > AMD, but if you're unbiased you would realize its not worth the cost you will never use that extra power in todays games anyway.

I'm sorry but the comparison of the 8150 to Intel's 2011 CPUs as costing 500-1000 is just silly. That would make sense if the 8150 compared to an i7, but the 8150 is constantly beat in benchmarks by SB i5s.

Depends on the benchmark. passmarks doesn't have a single I5 higher than the 8150. Other benchmarks do. Screw benchmarks anyways its what you prefer and about real world results and several people here use the 8150 and get amazing results.

I'd really like to see how the bulldozer arch benches on Diablo 3. It seems to be a pretty heavily CPU bound game and Bulldozer has benched lower then the old Phenoms on CPU bound games.

The first page with jinny's posts are correct though, the bulldozer architecture is a step backwards for AMD.

Newegg.com - Open Box: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz, 3.7GHz Turbo Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor HDE00ZFBGRBOX

Diablo uses 7% of CPU
DB uses 10%

On an FX 8150
Diablo uses 3-4%
DB uses 5% on avg

I have the amd in my rig, love it and have had zero problems running a TON of crap through it with no problems. Doesn't even break a sweat, and not over clocked

IMO if you want a long term kickass setup, drop the extra dough and get the best performing shit you can get. I've cut corners with cost to performance ratios in past rigs but not with my current (intel) rig with nice shit. it smokes games and am certain will still be running strong for at least another 6-10++ years

Edit to op: in terms of cost, I was speaking in terms of long term costs. Technology always becomes outdated, that's a fact. spending less now may very well end up costing you more in the future when everything is said and done
