Question before buying

I was planning on buying Honorbuddy, but I have one question first. Will it work on a private server that is on 4.0.6?

Private servers are all different. Blizzard's servers are all the same across the world. By this, I mean the offsets and things that HB has to hook to. I'm no coder, so I don't know all the technical jargon, but basically it's far too hard to make HB work on private servers than it is to make it work on ALL Blizzard servers. There is so much within a private server that is completely different from Blizzard. It's probably almost impossible to make a bot like HB, if not HB itself, work on private servers. That's what I'm speculating anyway, but for a better answer you may want to talk to Tony, Bossland, or any of the other devs.
