When you use software to hide or change your IP address, i'm assuming that "your" IP changes frequently. How do you deal with the constant password changes when you try to login into your account and you keep getting the standard "we detect change in location, account locked, change your password" thing. I know i keep getting this message all the time when i try to play from work, so i'm curious how this would play out via proxy or vpn.

Its no issue when you change to a ip like work, because at work there are noone else connecting to wow. Atleast there are just very few.
If you mange to rent access or gain access to VPN noone else / very few others use you are good to go. Though don't think for a second renting the cheapest alternative VPN on the market will get you anywhere because blizzard detect that and will ban you solely because you use a VPN/Proxy used by other frequent gold sellers / exploiters. Happened to me three times, and only reason was because at home i before used a VPN to gain access to services such as Netflix / vudu / Hulu. Even tho the bans i received were permanent i manged to talk to blizzard and explain the case and within a few hours they opened all my account again.

I have a VPN for unrelated needs but I've become fond of enabling the VPN when I'm botting that way, should I get banned, I can fall back on the "I was hacked" view and the IPs can prove it.
