Question about selling characters.

If i want to sell my characters, is there a way i can detatch my email from the game key that comes with each diablo 3 game?
So the buyer can use the email address and characters associated with that email, but I can keep my game key and start over?
(They would later get their own copy of the game and register the email with their OWN cd key)

is this possible?
