Question about playing main with bot as leader

Hi,

I have 2 separate PC's (physically not VM's), each is completely different OS but on same IP address. My question is if is safe for my main to follow bot manually. Example - bot (barb) as leader runs let's say keyhunt. I will follow with my main (DH) manually for chance to get a key too - more players = higher chance to drop and also for DPS. Is it safe for my main? Does anyone have any experience with such case? My main was never involved in botting etc, but it is on same IP address.

Please answer only if you tried this and have experience with it, I don't need speculations regarding this, I'm looking more for facts. Thanks.

I do it and have not had a problem

It's quite safe for your main, especially of the two accounts are under different names, although this may not make a difference. I ran two bots at the same time, just to see how they work together (only problem I had is they don't auto accept a boss encounter). Considering you're being super paranoid about them, it's very, very safe to do.
