it seems the medium/lower pop servers, pets like the tiny crimson sell for 40-50k. if you go to a jam packed realm like illidan horde, they sell for 12-15k. is playing on a medium realm worth it for the gold increase for you? for some reason in my brain, im thinking, "those people on the medium/low pop realms cant honestly have 50k gold lying around to spend on pets... but it sure would be nice getting 50k a pop per pet

Med. Pop can be hit and miss. Demand is higher while supply is lower on occasion, but sometimes demand is just as low. I noticed for example between two of my realms that cut gems of one type on a med. pop server sell for ~200g whereas on one of my high pops it barely sells above vendor. HOWEVER I have a had time selling gems at 200g on the medium server (as the demand is low) than I do on the high pop for other things. Really depends on how much time you are willing to spend figuring out what is and isn't valuable on a medium server.
