question about gold adverts

Does they check IP adress etc. when you advert from a account? Let say that I have 1 day left vanilla account and I want to try to find some private buyers via whispers. If I get banned on vanilla, can I get banned on other accounts when I log on them?

Not unless they have a really, really good reason to (as in, 400+ account farms).
