Hey guys so i've been using DB for a few years now but I don't usually run the bot constantly. However, I have ran it quite a bit this past week and i've got my settings set to only keep Ancient items of the current set im running. My DH can clear 65's not too manually but i get them done. however, the bot really can't even do 60's by itself very well. I've adjusted the settings as best I can but I guess since i'm using UE DH Multishot the build is kinda dated and not really loved on as much as other Meta classes.

Anywho, what works the best for you guys in terms of getting really good rolls on gear? Upgrading items? Reforging? I've tried using the Bounty bot but it just seems to work mediocre and theres a few acts that it really doesnt collect much of any mats from. Any suggested settings would be much appreciated!

I have 5 Ancient pieces of gear, gems are only 56. Just can't seem to find a good way to level them up more.

Thanks guys!

because the bot lacks common sense and does not have the same intelligence/reaction time as a human, it see's a pack of mobs if the pack is large enough it will engage if not it will bypass and mostly die from trying to run past mobs and getting hit.
Dont forget its running a script, it will only do what is written.

Firstly,

I have found the Demonbuddy doesn't handle the Demon Hunter very well. I have tried the Demon Hunter every season thus far and still come to the same conclusion.

I run a 4 class DB meta group. The best classes usually are Crusader, Monk and finally wizard. Keep in mind though, with the Trinity being simplified and the ability to write class routines easier that may change in the near future.

As for gear ... Since a season lasts around 3 months my season journey usually consists of this routine:

Step 1: Getting a farming class up and running based on the Hordric Gifts rewards. For the first month and a half I just farm paragon levels (I need to get to 800 as an absolute bare minimum). I also farm materials like mad. That includes rift keys, bounty materials, crafting materials etc.

Step 2: Get my meta group going. After farming for a month or so getting the toons outfitted with the basic items (non ancient is super easy using the Kanai's Cube). Once outfitted, then I move on to basic Ancients until everything is an ancient item. Once that's done then it's rifting all the way, along with Kanai's cube, to min/max items from item drops and reforging. I typically have three or four item lists created; the one I use is based off of where I am in the process of gearing up.

You'll find that to truly get to the high rifts it really comes down to rolling/reforging items and if you play more than one bot, then it becomes even more complicated because you have to do what I outlined over more than one class.

Thanks for the reply! Definitely will take that into consideration. I've also noticed DH's do not bid well, but I was able to do 75's during Season 7 (at about a 70/30 ratio of success). I finished the season with 1100 Para and only 78-80 Gem level

I also basically upgrade rares to the items I need for builds and I am running dual bots at the moment. The only issue is my LON isn't really geared so he just runs ahead of my main bot the DH even though I use auto follow and dies a lot.

Thanks again

I think that DB runs DH UE great, I haven't really tried any of the other builds...

That said, UE is not going to compare to the ability of several other classes in terms of DPS, group ability, etc.

Rulgan is right on in his assertions.

for 2botting, there are some very interesting compositions out there.
I have run that with a ZDPS monk and a FB WD or Archon Wizard for DPS and found it best for higher GR pushes due to DPS output.
I have tested 2bot with ZDPS monk and LTK or R6 monk as well. While the DPS output is lower than an INT class, they get around the map a whole lot faster, making this ideal for speed runs.
Lots of people have run a LoNBomb as the DPS with ZDPS monk and had success (or dual LoNBomb).

Other considerations:
I think LONBomb is the toughest build to do right, but at optimal gearing, its some of the best DPS in the game. Personally I feel like it's the most boring to watch though.

Monk is very entertaining to watch and has the widest array of useable builds to choose from.

INT Classes are generally squishy and boring to watch, but are much better than watching LoNBomb.
