If I have WOW on with honorbuddy. Would I get my account in trouble for having cheat engine open and attached to need for speed world. I like to use cheat engine on need for speed world with the hotkeys setup to speeds so I can win every online race and level up faster plus get gold rewards.

I havn't done it yet with the both open. To risky I was thinking. I been just playing need for speed on my accounts rest time. But I get bored and would like to bot and play nfsw.

you can use a speed hack... but the client lags out (ie you can't see nodes) after a certain % and u can sometimes get DC'd... but 1 report and ur banned =(

Not using cheat engine on WOW. Using cheat engine on need for speed world. I would never attach cheat engine to wow. Thats a sure bet ban.

Was asking if i had wow open and honorbuddy running.
Then I open need for speed and attach cheat engine to that. Would wow pick up that cheat engine is open and ban me. Even tho its not attached to wow.

I don't think it would matter as I do not believe that WoW is allowed to read other processes running on the pc unless they are directly injected into the game.

You will be fine aslong as it dosnt hook into wow. I cheat in alot of other games while I bot in wow and never had a problem. And I've never heard of using cheat engine to cheat with WoW anyways so your safe.

While Warden won't detected it, another module (scan.dll) that runs at startup and scans out of proccess for viruses, keylogers and sometimes cheat programs, if it detects one it just gives the user a warning and shuts down wow without relaying info back to bliz, so no need to worry about getting banned from it. There's a post on Mmowned about it, but I cba to dig it up.

yea you're fine, wow doesn't scan your processes or anything, they can only look at whats hooked into wow looking at anything else would be illegal.
(correct me if im wrong.

You can't start wow if CE is running, better get an UCE and use that.
Just make sure you don't use it on wow with the speedhack, the module CE injects to hook the timing methods is blacklisted by warden and will get you banned.

I lost one account doing that but then i was still 'fresh' :)
You should be fine using it on NFS tho.

Yea, if you launch wow with CE running wow produces an error box saying you have a Potential hack running blah blah blah please diable this before useing world of warcraft/wow closes
